Quick Start - Overview of Features and Functions

This page is meant to serve as a "cheat sheet" that can help you quickly get up and running with your CloudPhone.ONE service. To get your new extension up and running quickly, please follow these steps:

  1. Record your name:

  2. Record your busy and unavailable greetings:

  3. (Optional) Change your voicemail PIN:

  4. (Optional) Log into Microsoft 365 to make your contacts visible in the softphone app: 
    Desktop (Windows/Mac): Accessing Microsoft 365 (Outlook) Contacts from Cloud Softphone Desktop App
    Mobile (iOS/Android): Accessing Microsoft 365 (Outlook) Contacts in the Cloud Softphone Mobile App

  5. Test outgoing calls:
    Test making an outbound call by calling your own mobile phone, or another phone that you have access to. Please ensure that you see the correct caller ID name and number. 

  6. Test incoming calls:
    Test making an inbound call to either your direct number (if applicable), or test a call to your company's main menu, and then dial your extension. Please ensure that the softphone rings as expected, and that you are able to answer the call.
