Getting to Know the Desktop Softphone App


The main Cloud Softphone windows looks like this.

The bar on the left allows you to navigate between functions of the softphone. The pane on the right contains the content for the current tab. Please read about each tab below. 

Navigation Bar

The navigation bar has the following buttons:
       




Keypad – The main dialpad where you can place calls.


Contacts – Access address books from your Microsoft 365 account, your company directory, and your personal custom quick dials. Allows dialing directly from a contact entry.

History – A listing of all incoming and outgoing calls, included missed calls.


Messages – Coming soon, the Messages tab will allow sending and receiving SMS.


DND – Toggle button for turning Do Not Disturb feature on and off. 

Settings – Change various settings related to how the softphone app works.

Status Icon – The circle to the lower right of the icon indicates whether the softphone app online and ready to receive calls. Green is online, yellow is connecting, red means there was an error and the softphone is not online.
