Resetting the Desktop Softphone App

If you need to reconfigure your desktop softphone app for a new extension, it will need to be reset. In some cases, our support team may ask you to perform a reset as well to resolve a technical problem. Please keep in mind that your softphone will not be able to make and receive calls after a reset unless you reprovision it. Please follow the steps below to perform a reset of the mobile softphone app.

  1. Open the settings panel by clicking the gear icon near the bottom left corner of the app. 
  2. Click Reset Application in the navigation menu on the left. 
  3. Click Yes when prompted to confirm the reset. 

Your app is now reset.
