You must be logged into the CloudPhone.ONE admin panel to follow the steps in this article. If you need assistance logging in, please see the Logging Into the Admin Portal article.
To begin, navigate to Configuration > Extensions. Click the New PJSIP peer button above the table. This button is furthest to the left:
Begin in the Information section.Fill the desired extension into the Number field, the team member's full name into the Name field, and if desired, any notes you may have about the extension into the Description field:
Change the Voicemail MWI field to Voicemail Same Number.
Scroll down to the Outbound Recording section. If you wish to have outbound calls recorded, change Always Record to Yes:
Scroll down to the Web User Panel and Switchboard section. Click the Generate button, and fill the team member's email address into the Email field. Check the Send box next to the field:
In the Outbound Calls section just below, select the Auto checkbox to the right of the External CID Name field:
Scroll to the very bottom of the page, and click the Save button:
The extension has now been created. The team member will receive an email with instructions for installing and activating their softphone app(s).
